Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot as he is often referred to from Chicago Illinois started to gain attention once he released songs on YouTube. He initially released tracks like the Come Up and Never Cared and made his debut on SoundCloud with the mixtape OFFICIAL POLO.G SOUNDCLOUD. Gang With Me marked his first top-selling single. It was immediately followed by a second hit track, The Finer Things. The latter was written while he was in prison. It proved to be his first hit single, and has amassed thousands of viewers on YouTube and brought him into limelight. The major record labels started to show interest. The rapper finally agreed to a distribution agreement for his record label Columbia Records and released Pop Out with Lil Tjay.
