Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was an athlete and captain of 2012's Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics at London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze on balance beam. This meant that she was the very first American to compete at an Olympics with the top medal count. Her gold medal during the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold medal for the American team. It made her together with her teammates Gabby and Gabby one of the very first Americans - to achieve this feat. Also, silver medals were awarded in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. The break was for three years between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. Additionally, she was one of the gold medal winning American teams in the two World Championships. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor workouts. Aly works with the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her grandmother. She plans to pursue the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include expanding her trademark range of leotards. She is writing a book entitled Fierce that will be released in the coming months.
